I only ever use wordpress and the semiologic theme - by far the best wordpress theme I think - very easy to use as you can see.

It certainly is interesting looking at who gets up to what on the celebrity facebook profiles. Neither Lindsay Lohan, nor Carole King can be bothered, and have generic, copied-from-wikipedia profiles. Lady Gaga obviously has a great publicist, because her page has the most likes on facebook.
Then I found Sting's page. Well - all I can say is, that man knows how to turn a buck. We have links to his own site, his twitter feed and myspace page - and of course - a store selling Sting paraphenalia. I eventually gave up buying his albums because there was so much repackaging going on and I guess his popularity on face book - 1.4 million "likes" compared to Lady Gaga's 32 million reflects his era. He was just too early for online marketing.
Pretty sure there is a conspiracy between him and the Apple iTunes program - judging from how often his stuff pops up in the random playlist. Nothing random about it and as far as I can tell - Sting comes up every fifth play no matter how many songs you have and even if you didn't load any of his on - there they are. It's a conspiracy I tells ya! Working on analyzing this phenomenon as we speak - very hush-hush, got some good developers on it. Should have the results in soon. Watch this space. This is Sting's page:

Wow! Firefox 4 has been downloaded 106 million times now. Considering this release is only a few weeks old - that is astounding.
I must admit - there were a lot of changes to this version that meant quite a lot of updating and messing around with add-ons, but I still think firefox is the best free web browser by far. Love it - keep up the good work guys. You can download and update to the latest and greatest version here - Firefox4.

It is all well and good uploading your videos to a shared host, but what happens when they go broke or stop offering the service? Exactly - you are faced with a bunch of work to do, and the possibility of losing your work - especially if you have not backed it up some where. Well - Google Video just announce their upcoming demise. And of course, google being google, they are very worried about you and your feelings (insert sarcasm smiley here) and have kindly sent out an email letting you know they will be gone on April 29th.
After receiving 24,999,898,013 complaints - they have relented on the ONE MONTH notice and will be trying to migrate existing google videos to youtube. There isĀ a way of doing this yourself. Go to your Google Video Status page here - Google video status page and you will see this screen offering you the opportunity to upload your video to youtube:
Of course - most people who uploaded videos to Google did so because they did not want to upload them to YouTube and there is no easy way to upload them to any where else. So - if you did not keep a backup, you are going to be doing a lot of downloading - good luck with that. And if - like me - you have embedded any google videos - you are going to be spending some time finding broken links. How awesome is that?
